    Gruner + Jahr commemorates the victims of the terror attacks in Paris. As a sign of empathy, part of headquarter's front at the Baumwall in Hamburg has been lit in the colours of the French flag since this weekend. Due to its subsidiary Prisma Media, Gruner + Jahr has been very active in France for around 35 years and is closely linked to the country.

    Medienfabrik to transfer to Gruner + Jahr

    On January 1st 2016, the communications agency Medienfabrik will be transferring from Arvato to Gruner + Jahr – both 100 percent subsidiaries of the international media company Bertelsmann. Gruner + Jahr will thus be setting up Germany’s largest content communication service provider.

    After Gruner + Jahr granted the first licence for BEEF! to France in 2014, the publishing house is now launching the successful food magazine for men in Spain. BEEF’s second international roll-out is managed by G+J Brand Businesses, the magazine is published by G+J Spain. The first issue is available in stores on 22nd September.
