Gruner + Jahr is launching a new travel magazine in the Netherlands: NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TRAVELER will be published bi-monthly in a print run of 50,000 copies, at ;euro;4.95 an issue. NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TRAVELER further enhances G+J´s position in the Dutch magazine market.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC TRAVELER, a high-end magazine for world travelers, caters to a broad readership. Its comprehensive reports, sophisticated photo sections and numerous travel tips make the new magazine a helpful and interesting source of information for armchair and real-time travelers.
The first issue´s cover story is an in-depth report on Mexico as a tourist destination. The issue also features smaller articles on places including Lisbon, French Polynesia, Hanoi, and a culinary trip around the world ("The Taste of Travel").
By introducing this new title, Europe´s biggest magazine publisher continues on its successful course of extending established brands.
