Gruner + Jahr International extends its executive team

Hamburg, 27 June 2011 –

According to the growth of the international activities of Gruner + Jahr, Torsten-Jörn Klein, President of G+J International, is reorganising his division's executive team:
Stefan Gneuß (45), currently CFO and Executive Vice President G+J International, has been appointed COO G+J International with effect from July 1, 2011 and will take on the responsibilities of Bernd Rademann. In his new role, he will continue to report to Torsten-Jörn Klein. Rademann (44), will remain Executive Vice President G+J International and will manage the division's further international expansion in Asia, focussing on China and India. Together with Torsten-Jörn Klein, he will represent Gruner + Jahr in the Boards of the Group's existing international joint ventures.
Christian Bosse (39) will succeed Gneuß as CFO G+J International. Bosse joins G+J from Ernst & Young, where he was a project manager in the Transaction Integration Services unit. Prior to this, Bosse had already worked for Gruner + Jahr in various positions, most recently as Integration Manager Finance for G+J International in China.
Torsten-Jörn Klein, Gruner + Jahr AG Executive Board member and President of G+J International, said: "The growth in our international operations, especially the continuing expansion of our business activities in Asia, result in new challenges that require additional resources.
