Maylis Chevalier takes over as Group Publishing Director of G+J Espa;ntilde;a on 1 February 2010. In this role, she will be responsible for the strategy and business of all G+J Espa;ntilde;a magazine titles, including COSMOPOLITAN, GEO, MIA, MARIE CLAIRE, MUY INTERESANTE, MUY JUNIOR and SER PADRES HOY as well as their special editions and supplements.
Born in France, Maylis Chevalier studied Management and Economics at the ;Eacute;cole Supé;rieure de Commerce de Grenoble and the Technische Universität Berlin. Her career began at Procter & Gamble in France. She then moved to Axel Springer Verlag in Prague, after which she built up the eLearning project "e-Malaya e.V." in Nepal as of 2003. Since 2006, Chevalier has been Director of Business & Strategy at Gruner + Jahr International, responsible for the strategy and controlling of G+J subsidiary companies in Spain, Latin America, Italy and Holland.
